You can either bring your own tent or caravan Top Forest Camping in Rishikesh or hire a Ready Tent or Safari Tent, if you fancy a bit more luxury from your camping experience. The 10 New Forest Campsites are

of Brockenhurst. The Ober Water Stream runs alongside the campsite and there are lovely walks and cycling avenues and paths to follow.
Ashurst — is great if you want to visit train or public transport — perhaps with your tent on your back??

Hollands Wood is a very popular New Forest campsite — so book early. It opens 14th April 2011 to 26th September 2011 and is Winner of the Silver David Bellamy Award for Efficiency with 600 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Roundhill marvelous New Forest campsite. There is open heathland with a small lake but most importantly there is a creatures information hub run by the wardens. They have created a fantastic resource hub for visitors to gain knowledge and understanding of the new Forest. They have won a David Bellamy Gold Efficiency Award for all their hard work. Roundhill campsite opens 14th April 2011 to 26th September 2011 with 500 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes this campsite offers affordable. I visited here last year and saw their Ready tents and wanted to stay there and then!
Setthorns is the only New Forest campsite open all year. With 237 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Again a lovely wood land setting with birds and creatures very close by.
Whether you bring you own worn and welcoming tent, a brand new state of the art tent or decide to experience luxury in a Ready Tent or Safari tent I know you’ll love the experience.

I found all these campsites were beautifully run by enthusiastic, knowledgeable wardens and their teams. All the shower blocks, washing areas or other areas I visited could only be termed immaculately clean and well run. Most have also been redesigned and offer a high standard of camping for the family, whether you choose a quiet, small wood land setting or a larger capacity camping ground.
